Fleeting Moments...
Today as I picked up the baby from daycare I noticed something, as I was opening the door and putting him in his seat, he was looking... I have noticed it before but not until today did I really take it in. He was looking for his sister! He absolutely loves her and when he sees her, he lights up and gets so excited. As I was reflecting on this sweet moment during bath time tonight I jotted down some of the moments I never want to forget about this time RIGHT now. They are both growing up so very quickly and tonight I took the moment to slow down and soak in moments that seem like they are fleeting.
Here are just a few of my favorite moments I never want to forget:
Here are just a few of my favorite moments I never want to forget:
- The way he will giggle for no reason at all except that he thinks his sister hangs the moon and is so very funny.
- The feeling like I just took a bath while bathing them because of all the fun had during bath time.
- When the baby gets scared the way he looks at me for safety and comfort.
- The way that little miss makes me so uncomfortable in public places because of how extroverted she is. And she is so full of joy and does not hide or hinder it.
- How creative and imaginative she is; just the other day she said "keep that last kiss and don't let anyone kiss it out!"
- The way she bargains with me at bed time.
- The way they both love so fiercely to the point of strong hugs and kisses full of bites (baby).
This month is a big month for these two and lots of things should become clear and possibly more final so if you pray, pray for our journey. I am so blessed to be their momma for now in this moment!
