half way mark...week five

I ask myself daily if my heart is ready for this and everyday I am reminded its not about me. Little broken hearts and lives need love even if mine gets broken over and over again because I can navigate through it but they dont know how and they need help putting theirs back together again. I can do this. I will do this and I've got this (only because of Christ)!
I had a long time friend (also a foster mom) reach out to me and encourage me more than she probably even knew; these words she spoke over me just keep ringing in my ears and I am so so thankful. Her beautiful words were " You can be a physical manifestation of Christ's love in lives of the most vulnerable. Your heart will break and your soul will heavy. The loss is nothing in comparison to what you will gain. I'm proud to know you and watch your story unfold, even from afar. I spend a lot of time with friends mothering these days, we say to one another, 'you got this.' So as you go forward please remember, YOU got this, because He has you." They bring life to my heart! Thanks Liz!
I also came across this blog post and it was beautiful and I pray for wisdom like this momma has when I have littles living under my roof. "Yes, you may absolutely Run Away."
